Worship Wars [WGN101] *NEW*
- We live in an era when musical worship is one of the most controversial issues in local churches and fellowships. Furthermore, recent trends and movements in the church are convincing us of the importance of this issue. Soon enough, serious questions arise for worshippers and worship leaders alike: what is worship, and what does God desire that we do in worship? Does God even care about how He is worshipped, or is He some kind of laissez-faire deity who doesn’t really care but is resting in the hopes that somebody somewhere will in some way just worship Him?! In this workshop, we will examine what Scripture describes as authentic Christian worship, and discuss issues in today’s “worship warfare” that is of utmost concern to our postmodern generation.
