Dear older brothers and sisters; grads of A/CCFs
I’m writing to you on behalf of Campus Challenge 2007. As some of you might know and have experienced, the cost to go to CC increases every year, affecting some A/CCF members’ decisions to attend. We’re trying to keep the cost as low as we can but due to AFC (Ambassador for Christ)’s own financial difficulties, we need to look to other sources of funding.
Since the first Campus Challenge, we have seen God affecting lives of students and building up leaders through this conference. We truly believe that Campus Challenge has at one point affected your lives. We pray that the impact that Campus Challenge left in your hearts will place a burden for you to see a new generation of leaders being raised up, taught and changed for His Kingdom.
During your years in university we hope and believe that the A/CCFs you’ve attended have been a huge blessing to your learning and memories. Campus Challenge is definitely a time where different A/CCFs can meet together and learn from each other, share about what God’s blessed each campus with, support one other as brothers and sisters, and bring unity to the fellowships on each campus; where campuses will be able to learn interdependence with one another.
So having experienced the unity and blessings that comes with inter-connecting with fellow brothers and sisters during Campus Challenge, we urge you to really pray about donating to Campus Challenge 2007, and to support the younger generation and their own journey with God. Our goal this year is to fundraise $3000 to cover the cost of keeping the early-bird price at $175. Any extra money fundraise will go to supporting those students that are unable to financially afford the cost of coming to Campus Challenge, we believe that God always provides and that money should not be the factor that stops and eager member to learn and come closer to God.
Please go to www.campus-challenge.com/2007/donations/. Pray about donating and just reflect on all God has showed you and blessed you with during your time in university. If you feel that supporting financially is not what you’re called to do at this moment please don’t feel obligated to. However, please do continue to support us in prayers, because we know He will make it happen.
