About
CAMPUS CHALLENGE
- The annual student ministry conference (supported by AFC) for students in A/CCFs across Southern Ontario colleges/universities.
2007 Conference
When: May 18-21 (Fri evening-Mon morning)
Where: Trent University, Peterborough, ON
Theme: “Change” (Romans 12:2)
Our Vision:
To learn from the past, to prepare for the present, and to train for the future. Campus Challenge is primarily a forum to do all of this annually. However, Campus Challenge shall also evolve into a source of information and a conference of decisions. This will be the yearly marker to measure all goals whether success or failure.
Our Mission:
1. To educate campus fellowships what other campus fellowships around Ontario are doing.
2. To learn how other fellowships in the past have set goals and visions for the fellowships, and how they set out to achieve them.
3. To help fellowships develop a vision for their fellowships. This will include a two-fold proposal; one that is for this year and one that is for three years from now.
4. To provide a yearly forum to discuss one another’s goals made in previous years.
As part of God’s historical work in the worldwide evangelical student movement, Ambassadors for Christ in Canada, in partnership with local churches, is committed to establish, continue and propagate this mission among ethnic Chinese students in Canadian educational institutions. While AFC believes in the autonomy of the student groups, we will provide leadership, guidance, and training, promote and develop students in areas of evangelism, discipleship, leadership and world mission in order to prepare them to serve effectively in local churches, communities and the world.
